Founded in 2009, The Cordial Churchman was started by Ellie Laveer after husband her asked make him a bow tie out of some leftover fabric. Well he loved the results and it was posted online. Within a few days, many others started to contact her with their interest in ordering seersucker bow ties from her. Now they offer bowties made of a variety of fabrics including organic bamboo, velvet, and cashmere.
