Three years in and We are Still Kickin! Webster Style At Year 3

The old saying of time flies when you are having fun is probably one of the truest statements known to man. It is very hard to believe that we started Webster Style Magazine a little over three years ago. What started as a simple discussion with a friend about men’s style and bow ties, has now turned into something that is a lot bigger than any of us could have imagined. Now three years and almost 300 posts later we are still standing and growing in this wild world that is the internet. While the site may have been my “brainchild”, it would not have grown and flourished over the past few years if it were not for the support of so many people. The growth and success of this magazine is due to their hard work and support! As we look forward to the next 3years of Webster Style Magazine, I would like to take time to publicly thank all of those who have been supporting of our efforts for the past 3 years. I have to start by thanking all of the people who have contributed articles for the site and audio for the podcast. You didn’t have to do it, but thank you for embracing my vision as your own and for using it as a way to communicate your ideas and viewpoints. Marc (@marcpolite), Harry (@dreddeddeuce), Steve (@S_Stephens2), Will (@WilliamMapp3), Jason (@lildivo51), and Greg (@GLamont357), thank you again for putting up with the emails, the Saturday mornings and afternoons that some of you gave to me to record segments for the podcast, and everything else that comes along with this site. Thank you David for inspiring me to actually do this. Thank you also to the guys at The Next Issue podcast (@thenextissue) and Glance and Go Radio (@glanceandgo) for giving us a forum to speak. Thank you to all the ladies that have sat down with us for our Women of Webster interviews. Shondra (@livewire99),  Lindsey (@Isistheamazon), Minna (@msafropolitan), Nicole (@NahlaNicole), Jasmine (@blackmatchmaker), Keller (@kelleemaize), Vonetta (@punch_vj), Deborah (@msdeborahj),  Jazzy (@traveljonez), Summer, Julie C (@juliechang206), Aisha (@Phoenix_Trinity), Courtney (@ckstackhouse), Donalja (@voiceness), and Evette (@evettedionne), thank you ladies for taking the time out to talk to us and to share your thoughts and ideas with the world. A special thank you the Kenny Flanagan (@kasthedesigner) for giving us our first interview and for always keeping us up to date on all things with the House of KAS. Also thank you to the big homie Grant Harris of @Imagegranted. You have been a supporter of what we are trying to do from the moment that we met. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. Thanks for always being willing to offer a helping hand. Also we can’t forget The Board of Directors (@thetrueboard), Keylon Singelton (@keynoble), and The Style Gent (@thestylegent) for their support. Thank you to all of you that follow us on twitter, Google plus, tumble, and wordpress. Your continued support makes all of this worth while. Hopefully we will get to work with many of you in the future. Last but not least, I would thank my better half, who was instrmental in the naming of the site. You have supported me in this effort in ways that you will never know. Thank you for everything. Again thank all of you for taking the time our to read a post, retweet a tweet, watch a video, or listen to a podcast. Your continued visitation makes this what it is. Here’s looking on ward to the next three years! Elden Hawkes Editor-In-Chief
