The split personality of this drink is one of the aspects that led to its name of Day and Night. However is is also called the Night & Day, depending on who you talk to. When it comes down to it, you wont really care about what its called when that mix of champagne, cognac, bitters, and Grand Marnier hits your tongue. As a variation on the standard recipe, we suggest substituting a sparkling moscato instead of champagne for extra sweetness.
- 3 oz Champagne (or sparkling wine of your choice)
- 3/4 oz cognac
- 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
- 1/4 oz Campari bitters
Pour all parts into a wine goblet half-filled with crushed ice, and serve.
