Women of Webster: Lady Antoinette

Aisha Antoinette aka LadyAntoinette is a mother, writer, and among other things she loves sci-fi. She is the author of the blog Serendipitous Musings, a student in social work, and a natural hair enthusiast.

1. In your own words who is Lady Antoinette?

A devoted mother, passionate follower of Christ, meek soul, budding writer, sci-fi geek and eternal dreamer. I am simple yet complexity itself. I am a social worker who fights inequity and injustice. I am a modern day Wonder Woman. I juggle school, home, work and everything else that needs to get done.

2. What drives you to be successful?
What drives me towards success is my God given purpose in life. God has created me to be a servant. I strive daily to meet the needs of others; to raise awareness about spiritual and environmental issues. My son is a big influence on my drive as well. I want him to see that one person can make a difference.
3. Finish this sentence “In five years I will be…”
In five years I will be well into my career and looking for new ways to advocate for human rights and traveling around the world in my free time.

4. What makes you smile?
Sunshine, good conversations, long walks in a park, the ocean, beach days, my son’s laughter, sunsets, summer rain, and fond memories.
5. Do you think chivalry is dead?

I do not think chivalry is dead. I believe when a man comes into his own he realizes how to treat a lady no matter what environment he was raised in. There are chivalrous men out there. God bless them!

6. If you could do or be anything, what would it be and why?

Hmmm…if I could be anything I would be a Broadway star just to satisfy a childhood dream.

7. What qualities do you expect a Webster Man to have or demonstrate?

A Webster man is for one thing chivalrous. He sees needs in his community and strives to meet them while taking care of home. He is loyal, trustworthy and never stops seeking the truth. He is compassionate, considerate and has style.

8. What is one secret about women that you think all men should know?

If I could tell men one secret about women it’s this: We are not as complicated as we seem.
