Recently DC comics announced that they would be revamping and relaunching much of the DC universe with new number 1 issues starting August 31st. The relaunch of popular character such as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman has sent the world ablaze with the unprecedented coverage in mainstream media outlet such as USA Today. The announcement it has also unnerved long time fans who are concerned that their favorites may be changed beyond recognition. At the Baltimore Comic Con, creators including Jimmy Palmiotti, David Finch, and Franchesco Francavilla addressed a captive audience about “The New 52” during the DC comic panel.
